金鸡百花电影节成功举办

China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival

11月7日—11月10日，第27届中国金鸡百花电影节在佛山举行。

From November 7 to 10, the 27th China Golden Rooster Hundred Flowers Film Festival was held in Foshan.

20年后再聚首，恰逢佛山建设文化导向型城市、大力打造南方影视中心之际，佛山在电影节期间，举行颁奖典礼、影展、以及学术论坛等五大类30项主要活动， 向全国乃至世界展现岭南名城的神韵风采。

20 years after hosting Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival in 1997, Foshan, for the second time, hosted the Film Festival, at the time of building a culture-oriented city and constructing the Southern Film and Television Center. By holding 30 major events in five categories including the awarding ceremony, photo exhibition, academic forums and etc., Foshan presented its graceful charm of Lingnan area to the whole country and even the world.

佛山大剧院落成开放

10月12日，佛山大剧院开业首映，意大利经典歌剧《图兰朵》精彩上演。这座高起点、高层次的文化综合体的启用，标志着佛山高雅艺术进入一个全新的发展阶段。

On October 12, the Foshan Grand Theater opened and welcomed its premiere Turandot, the Italian classic opera. The opening of this high-starting point and high-level cultural complex marks a new stage in the development of the elegant art in Foshan.

11月29日晚，在佛山大剧院开演的百老汇音乐剧《芝加哥》，则是佛山历史上首个原版百老汇作品的演出。

On November 29, Chicago was performed at Foshan Grand Theatre and it was the first Broadway musical that had been brought to Foshan.

绚丽璀璨的彩车，精彩绝伦的表演秀，每年佛山秋色巡游都会惊艳全城！

Gorgeous floats and brilliant performances, the Qiuse Parade surprises the whole city every year.

2018年秋色巡游迎来“朋友圈”再扩容，节目内容更加丰富多彩。43项非遗表演项目、6辆巡游彩车悉数登场，万人空巷、热闹非凡。

The 2018 Qiuse Parade realized the expansion of fans, and the program was more colorful. 43 intangible cultural heritage performances, 6 parade floats all appeared on the spot, which was bustling with excitement.

图书馆建设遍地开花

去年，佛山市图书馆获评全球“最佳绿色图书馆”。在第三届国际图书馆协会联合会（IFLA）全球“2018年绿色图书馆大奖”评选中，佛山市图书馆从来自全球32个国家的参评图书馆中脱颖而出，获得第一名。

Last year, Foshan Library was rated as the "Best Green Library" in the world. In the election of the third International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions(IFLA) Global "2018 Green Library Awards ", Foshan Library emerged from the libraries among 32 countries and won the first prize.
